Springwell celebrate their first traditional May Day celebration!
On Friday 30th April 2010 at 1.45pm the Springwell community will celebrate the coming of Spring, sunshine and the appearence of blossom and flowers after the long winter!
Family and friends are warmly welcome to come and enjoy the day with the school. There will be a spectacle of various dances, including Morris, Salsa, Line and Maypole dancing. The afternoon will kick off with a procession of all the children in their bright and colourful summer clothes. The Springwell choir will perform along with a group of dhol drummers.
There will be refreshments available for parents and guests.
To end the celebrations we will have a spectacular dance performance and a balloon launch to raise money to be spent on costumes for plays and drama at Springwell. If your child wants to release a balloon please donate £1.
